Lisa S Ware - Audiobook Narrator

Biography

Hi! I’m Lisa S. Ware (aka voices from lsware) – thanks for stopping by.

Helping people is my nature. Professionalism is a way of life.

I’d love to be a resource to you & help bring your project to life. An articulate style and bright voice make me a natural fit for Self-Help and other non-fiction. My natural accent is general North American, but as a native Southerner, a variety (& intensity) of accents/dialects from Dixie to lowland lay at my disposal.

Life has provided a phenomenal basis for my audiobook career: raised on a working farm in Mississippi, then lived in St. Louis, MO for a couple of decades before retreating to the mountains of North Carolina. Both of my parents passed away when I was a teenager. I’m a high-school drop out with two BA’s (Philosophy & English – summa cum laude, for anyone who’s into Latin) with extensive experience in the Real Estate and Legal industries. I’ve managed law firms, run an IT company, and I donated a kidney to my brother (then my sister gave one of hers to another sister – PKD sucks but, now we can call ourselves the Spare Part Sisters!).

Beyond extensive experience with real estate law and office administration, I also have a solid technical background. I love all things science, especially Astronomy, and read theoretical Physics for entertainment. I am a genuine lover of wisdom.

Drawing on my beautifully complicated life allows me to infuse Truth in all of my performances. Honing my craft is a daily exercise that I love, working with personal coaches and constantly attending webinars and workshops.

Recording is done in my dedicated, sound treated home studio, providing tight, clear, and consistent finished audio. Equipment includes: Neumann TLM-102 / Audient iD4 / Reaper / iZotope RX7, if you want to know that sort of thing… 🙂
